Grace and Peace, VCEC!

What a joy it has been to return and see so many of your faces at services on Sundays at our wonderful campus! Indeed my soul has been refreshed by your presence, prayers, and communal praise of our risen, redeemed and returning Savior, Jesus Christ. Speaking of ‘refreshment’ I wanted to provide some ‘fresh’ and breaking news concerning our VCEC Staff.

I’m thrilled to announce that Gregg Hay will be joining our Campus Team as a Ministry Assistant for Community Outreach! Gregg comes to us from our International Ministries team at Cooper Road and has been on the Vineyard Columbus Staff for nearly 4 years, working in various areas of community outreach including facilitating ESL classes, coordinating in-school mentoring programs, and organizing food distributions. In his prior career, Gregg worked in corporate chemistry labs for over 15 years (yes- that is not a typo!)

Gregg's wife, Carrie, is a self-employed graphic designer and all-around creative ninja. He has two kids—a daughter, Alainna, who recently got her first apartment with friends (Gregg has maintained his calm surprisingly well) and a son, Liam, who is a middle schooler as well as Gregg's annual road trip companion. Not to be forgotten, though he often is, is their dog, Franklin. Gregg moved to Columbus from northern Ohio over 25 years ago. He and his family have lived in a number of neighborhoods in the city during that time. He has been a member of Vineyard Columbus for over 20 years and has occasionally visited East Campus, always enjoying his time with us. Along with increasing our digital footprint (e.g. social media and presence on the web), his primary emphasis will be helping us to extend our reach into the surrounding community as we continue our quest to be a best friend to South-East Central Ohio

You’ll be seeing Gregg, Carrie, Alainna, Liam, and possibly even Franklin around VCEC soon so feel free to welcome them and say hello! We are excited to have them join our Campus family!

Blessings,
Pastor Charles
