Hello Sawmill Campus! We wanted to update you on some programming changes for the Spring season. We are changing things up a bit for the purpose of cultivating more relationships with students and connecting them to leaders in the student ministry. The most important thing in this season is Communication and that we have a simple way to keep both parents and students updated with what is happening. We are pausing the -- Every Sunday Night event but will have other events throughout this season.
The four main areas for our student ministry in this season are…
1. Sundays Mornings!
*Every Sunday we have a middle school class during our 9:15am service. If you have a 6th-8th grader – we’d LOVE to have them in this group. Currently, we have 15-20+ students attending this and it has been awesome!
*We are piloting a High School class on Sunday mornings during our 9:15am service as well. This will be a short-term class and will start on Sunday, March 13th , and go for five weeks (the last one will be Sunday, April 10th).
*IF you attend the 11:15am service – there will be no class – BUT PLEASE show up early and we will have a student-only hang out and reception area with some goodies in the LOFT of our facility at Sawmill.
2. Events!
*We are planning cookouts, game nights, visiting the Westerville campus student ministry, hang-out with the Grandview campus student night, and more…
To hear about these we need to get the best contact info for you and your students so you can stay connected!
3. Crews!
*The long-term goal is that every student is in a “Crew”. A crew is a small group environment with 4-5 other students. We are in the process of recruiting more adult leaders to this ministry and we are super excited for how this can impact the life of a student.
4. Communication
*We need to make sure we have good contact information for you and your student(s).
Please email us and let us know…
Your First and Last Name / Email address / and Cell Phone.
Also – please include your student(s) full names, and their email or cell phone if they have one. (please send that email to: ryan.snow@vineyardcolumbus.org)
I think that is it for now!
Excited about this next season and watching God build into the lives of students @ Sawmill!
