Having people from very diverse backgrounds in our church is an extraordinary gift, yet Jesus calls us to go deeper. But where do we even begin when it comes to talking about race and ethnicity? For quite a few years, Connie Anderson (InterVarsity Fellowship) has been training InterVarsity staff and students across the country in areas of race and ethnicity, and she will be presenting a session called "A White Grandma Talks About Race."

We want to celebrate our congregation's commitment to "partnering with Christ to heal the world" by meeting together for a brief rally before our final day of service. Pick up your Compassion Week t-shirt, have breakfast, sign up to serve that day and be encouraged!
