A sermon series addressing tough topics about faith.
It is important for followers of Jesus to understand the Biblical and historical framework that they are a part of... Understanding the Christian story helps us sort out our individual and corporate identity, teaches us how to live, and keeps us oriented to what it means to be the people of God. But sometimes it's challenging to understand fully how to read the Bible, how the old and new testaments relate to one another, or how to reconcile how an ancient faith should impact and influence modern lives. You can't answer the question, "who am I" until you answer the question "of what story am I a part of?"... this series will make space to ask and answer both of those questions during a season of preparation for Easter.
Naturally Supernatural is a series out of the book of Luke. The Vineyard movement is founded in the truth that God’s supernatural presence is with us in our natural, every-day world. Whether we’re at the grocery store, at school, or making dinner for friends, God’s spirit is present to us. We also know that where His presence is, His supernatural power is also present. This is why we wait on the Lord to speak, why we pray for healing, and why we make space for God’s presence to show up each week in our services. This series will help each of us understand what it means to live a Naturally Supernatural life… to learn more about God’s empowering presence, learn to hear His voice, and grow in our practices of prayer.
